This policy explains what personal data LAU AGENCY Ltd. (“LAU AGENCY”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website, why, and the choices you have. We are the controller of that data.
What we collect
- Application details you send through the “Apply to Work With Us” form: your name, email address, website, type of business, average project value, advertising budget and whether you are ready for a one-year collaboration.
- How you reached us: the page section you applied from, campaign (UTM) parameters in the link, and the referring website.
- Anonymous usage statistics (pages viewed, approximate country, device type), collected without cookies and without identifying you.
- Anything you write to us by email.
Why we use it and our legal basis
- To review your application and reply to you: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep a record of enquiries and improve our marketing: our legitimate interest in running and growing our business (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To understand how the website is used, in aggregate: our legitimate interest, using cookieless analytics.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements: Vercel (website hosting and cookieless analytics), Supabase (secure storage of applications) and Resend (delivery of application emails). Some of them may process data outside your country, including in the United States; where that happens, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Applications that do not lead to a collaboration are deleted within 24 months. If we work together, we keep the data needed for the relationship and for our legal, tax and accounting obligations for as long as those obligations require.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email grow@lau.agency and we will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes (for example, to measure ad campaigns), we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
